More than 5 years ago the Limelight Performing Arts Center (LPAC) was established to fulfill a need for high quality, theater opportunities for children and adults in the West Chester area. In addition to providing classes and a wide array of performing opportunities for the community, LPAC has produced exceptional professional musicals to great acclaim. In order to continue those productions, the Limelight Theater Company (LTC) was formed as a separate, non-profit organization with the vision of becoming the highest paying, non-equity theater company in Chester County.

The impact of a thriving theater scene on a community cannot be overestimated. Engaging, professional theater experiences bring people together, build community spirit, and bolster feelings of empathy with others in every aspect of the human condition. Theater contributes to the education, literacy, and quality of life of its patrons. It can be a transformative element in the local economy. LTC is dedicated to bringing this kind of flourishing, creative energy to Chester County.

LTC breathes new life into great shows through refreshing, clever and creative re-imagined storytelling. Creating such quality theater experiences requires the concerted effort of artists working collaboratively toward a unified vision. But to create requires time, energy and support. To achieve success, LTC is committed to providing a living wage to artists that will allow them the financial freedom they need to produce their art. With the support of businesses and individual patrons of the arts, LTC can provide Chester County with exceptional, professional performances while sustaining and encouraging new, emerging and seasoned artists.

You can help support our mission through your donations.  We thank you in advance for your generosity.

The Limelight Theatre Company is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions to the Limelight Theatre Company are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
